COGAT: 100 Aid Trucks Transferred to Gaza, UN Claims Aid Not Reaching Population

|
The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories reported that 100 aid trucks were transferred to Gaza today. "UN and international community trucks containing humanitarian aid, including flour, baby food and medical supplies, were transferred through the Kerem Shalom crossing to the Strip," the statement said. Meanwhile, Reuters reported from aid sources that the trucks have not reached bakeries or hospitals. "The aid, which is very limited, has not reached the population," said the World Food Program manager. A UN spokesperson said the trucks are still in the loading area at Kerem Shalom because access to the Strip is not secure. Two traders told Reuters that this evening at least 15 aid trucks left Kerem Shalom and are en route to warehouses.
