The militia's security chief, Abu Mujahid al-Assaf, published a statement saying, 'Out of appreciation for the positions of the outgoing prime minister, we have decided to release the American accused, Shelly Kittleson, on the condition that she leave the country immediately. This initiative will not be repeated in the future.'
