Police reported that they have opened an investigation into an accident in the Negev, in which a bus struck an 8-year-old boy and fled the scene. The boy was seriously injured and evacuated to Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva, and officers have begun searches for the suspected driver. "Simultaneously, Negev district traffic accident investigators are working at the scene to collect findings and evidence as part of the investigation into the circumstances of the accident," police said.
