Report: Middle East Officials and Trump Allies Believe Likelihood of Renewed Fighting With Iran Is High

|
Official sources in the Middle East believe there is a significant chance the war will flare up again — and possibly with even greater intensity. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal. It was also reported that several of U.S. President Donald Trump's senior aides are concerned that Iran will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz to shipping without significant concessions from Washington, which the American president is unlikely to grant. According to them, this could result in a stalemate between the sides that would lead to a resumption of fighting.
