Without US: UN Security Council members call for 'unconditional' ceasefire in Gaza

Reuters|
The member states of the UN Security Council, except for the United States, called for an "immediate, permanent and unconditional ceasefire" in the Gaza Strip, as well as the release of hostages held by Hamas and other terrorist organizations in the Strip, and the delivery of large quantities of humanitarian aid. In the statement, the countries accused that "there is a man-made famine in the Strip" and warned that "using starvation as a weapon is prohibited under international humanitarian law".
