Romania will send two aircraft tomorrow - a firefighting plane and a logistical support aircraft - to assist in firefighting efforts. This follows a conversation between Foreign Minister Gideon Saar and his Romanian counterpart, the Foreign Ministry reported. Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares also spoke with Saar and indicated that Spain would join the assistance efforts. Additional countries have expressed willingness to help, including France, Ukraine, Ecuador and other nations that offered helicopter assistance.
