Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz said that "politicians from both blocs oppose the unity I am promoting. They want a decisive outcome, the division serves them politically. They are leading Israel to more elections, to narrow governments that will tear us apart from within, that will cause our enemies to attack us again." He added: "In order to fight our enemies, I must fight for unity among us, and therefore I'm running to the finish. I don't belong to any bloc, anyone claiming I'm wasting votes is lying and afraid."
