Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office announced it has reached out to Israeli authorities with a request for international legal assistance, asking Israel to order the seizure of the cargo ship PANORMITIS, which is allegedly carrying Ukrainian grain looted from occupied areas and is making its way to Haifa. According to the Ukrainian prosecutor's office, the ship is suspected of being part of a scheme to launder agricultural products illegally removed from Ukrainian territories under Russian control. Official documents have already been forwarded to the relevant Israeli authorities, and the Ukrainian side is requesting a series of measures: detention of the ship and cargo, conducting a search, confiscation of ship and cargo documents, taking grain samples and interrogating the crew.
