The Health Ministry reported that a rabid jackal was found in Ramot settlement in the Golan Regional Council, and that three people who were exposed to it were referred for preventive treatment. The ministry called on anyone who had contact, or whose animals had contact in the area of the incident with the infected animal or a stray animal, from September 5 to 19 inclusive, to urgently contact the health bureau in Tiberias or the health bureau nearest to their place of residence.
