A federal indictment was filed in Utah against Skyler AJ Rose, 22, after he threatened on social media to 'bomb a synagogue.' During a search of his home, FBI investigators and local police seized six improvised pipe bombs, explosive materials, two rifles and ammunition. An examination of his cellphone revealed he had searched for synagogues in his area, and the device also contained hundreds of images of pedophilic materials. Rose is charged with, among other things, attempted commission of a hate crime, possession of explosive devices and pedophilia offenses.
