Iran: Qom experts' assembly not harmed, will soon announce Khamenei's successor

Iran's Fars News Agency confirmed that the Assembly of Experts building in Qom was attacked but claimed no meeting was taking place there. It was reported that "the experts continued their meetings using a different voting method. Informed sources report that the negotiations are taking place in a secure environment and emphasize that the final stages are underway and that the result of the selection of the new leader may be announced soon." The report added: "The official announcement of the election results will take place in the coming hours or even days, to once again show the world the cohesion and dynamism of the Islamic system."
