Lapid: 'Humanitarian city in Gaza won't be established, but government will spend billions'

|
Opposition leader Yair Lapid said at the beginning of the Yesh Atid faction meeting that "Prime Minister Netanyahu, together with Finance Minister Smotrich, want to establish in Gaza what they call a 'humanitarian city.' This city in Gaza will not be established. It won't happen." According to him, "This idea is too crazy even by this government's standards, but we know how they operate – before they admit their failure, they will spend the billions. With this money, all the economic hardships of the past year could be canceled."
