|
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported receiving information about an attack on a vessel approximately 74 km southwest of the Saudi city of Yanbu. British maritime security firm Ambrey added that the vessel is "Israeli-owned." According to Ambrey, the ship was flying a Liberian flag and "matches the profile of targets sought by Yemen's Houthis." UKMTO stated that the vessel reported "a splash nearby resulting from unknown gunfire and hearing a loud explosion sound." It was further reported that the crew is safe and the vessel continues to its next destination.
