The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court sentenced Matan Shaul to 30 months in prison for posing as a medical staff member and committing indecent acts against patients, including a minor, under the guise of medical treatment. In addition to the prison term, he was given nine months of probation and ordered to pay 15,000 shekels in compensation to the minor. Shaul was convicted, based on his admission in an amended indictment, of two counts of indecent acts with consent obtained by fraud and one count of attempted indecent acts with consent obtained by fraud. According to the indictment, Shaul arrived at night at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital dressed in clothing resembling that of a medical staff member, approached patients and committed indecent acts against a minor and another patient, presenting them as medical examinations.
