The Shin Bet will bolster security for ministers and senior Israeli officials, and has updated security protocols. Among other measures, ahead of the operation against Iran, senior officials and their family members were evacuated from their homes over concerns that the Iranians would attempt to take revenge against them for the elimination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other senior Iranian officials. In addition, security protocols were changed and cabinet members were required to report their whereabouts at all times.
