US Ambassador to Israel Mike Hackaby made a rare visit to the Palestinian village of a-Taibeh east of Ramallah, which was recently attacked by Israeli settlers. Ambassador Hackaby tweeted after his visit: "a-Taibeh is a quiet Palestinian Christian village south of Jerusalem, with many American citizens, that has suffered vandalism - including fires set in an ancient church. I visited there today. Desecrating a church, mosque or synagogue is a crime against humanity and against God."
