Report: Manchester attacker entered country as child, received citizenship in 2006

Official sources in Britain told The Guardian that the terrorist Jihad al-Shami, who carried out the attack on a synagogue in Manchester where two people were murdered, entered Britain as a child and received British citizenship in 2006. Al-Shami, originally of Syrian descent, was shot dead at the scene of the attack. Local police arrested two men and a woman on suspicion of involvement in the attack: two men in their 30s and a woman in her 60s. Read more here.
