Shin Bet chief David Zini visited Cairo, the capital of Egypt, and met with Egyptian Intelligence Minister Hassan Rashad. The two discussed the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. Zini hosted Rashad during his visit to Israel on October 21.
