Government to High Court: No Investigation Committee for October 7 Events at This Time

|
The government submitted its response to the High Court regarding petitions to establish a state commission of inquiry into the October 7 massacre, arguing that now is not the time due to the expansion of ground operations in the Gaza Strip. The government noted that "senior defense officials from October 7 are involved in the operation," and criticized Government Legal Adviser Gali Baharav-Miara who "did not bother to attend the government discussion and sent a representative with a letter." The position was submitted through attorney Michael Ravelo, who represents the government.
