Fire and Rescue Authority spokesperson announced that evacuation of residents has begun in the area of the fire in the Halisa neighborhood of Haifa, near Nahal HaGiborim. The fire broke out in an open area, and according to Haifa station commander Deputy Chief Yitzhak Swisa, one building has been engulfed in flames. Searches are being conducted to ensure no one is trapped.
