Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has landed in Ukraine ahead of a diplomatic visit to the country. This is the second visit by an Israeli foreign minister to the country since the outbreak of war between Ukraine and Russia in early 2022, and the first since former Foreign Minister Eli Cohen's visit in February 2023. Saar is expected to meet with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and with the Jewish community in the country, and a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is also possible.
