Suzy Yanner, 66, is the woman who was run over and killed in Ramla by her ex-husband, Yunus Yanner, 71, who subsequently took his own life. Yanner worked at the Shamir-Assaf Harofeh Medical Center for more than 20 years. Hospital officials said that "Suzy was not just an employee - she was a beating heart within the department, a person of giving, compassion and infinite caring toward patients and toward her fellow staff members. Just recently, Suzy was selected as the hospital's outstanding employee for 2025."
