At the Navy missile boat change-of-command ceremony to be held tomorrow, Maj. R. will assume the role as the first woman to command a missile boat in the IDF. The IDF stated that "the event marks a significant milestone in the operational and command activity of the Navy and reflects the commitment to excellence, professionalism and equal opportunities in combat command and in the Navy in general." Navy Commander Rear Adm. David Saar Salama praised Maj.
