About 120,000 visitors flocked to nature reserves and national parks across the country over the weekend. The Israel Nature and Parks Authority reported that the leading sites were Gan HaShlosha (Sachne), Ma'ayan Harod, Caesarea, Yarkon National Park (Tel Afek), Tel Ashkelon, Ein Hemed, Einot Tzukim Nature Reserve, Ein Gedi, Masada and Besor National Park (Eshkol Park). Around 5,000 visitors spent the weekend at various overnight parking lots, the most popular of which were Ma'ayan Harod, Mishmar HaCarmel Farm, Khan Be'erot in Makhtesh Ramon, Masada West, Eshkol Park and Castel.
