Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich responded to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's apology to Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Thani, saying: "Today is the anniversary of the Munich Agreement signed on September 29, 1938. Now as then, Churchill's statement echoes: 'England had to choose between disgrace and war, it chose disgrace and therefore will receive war as well.'" He added: "The groveling apology to a state that supports and finances terrorism is a disgrace."
