The start of the 11th stage was delayed after several pro-Palestinian demonstrators stood in the middle of the course. Police removed the protesters, and the race began with a delay of 19 minutes. Later, protesters tried to break onto the course, which led organizers to decide to stop the stage 3 km before its finish and not declare a winner.
