The IDF destroyed another high-rise building in Gaza City that was used by Hamas. The IDF spokesperson stated that "terrorists from the terror organization had previously installed intelligence gathering equipment, explosive devices and observation posts in the building. The terrorists who installed the observation equipment and explosive devices are staying in the area near the building and have been operating from there throughout the war against IDF forces to plan and advance terror operations." It was emphasized that "before the attack, steps were taken to minimize the chance of harming civilians, including warning the population, using precise munitions, aerial surveillance and additional intelligence information."
