Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded to U.S. President Donald Trump's statement about having a deadline for when he would stop pushing for a ceasefire in the war with Ukraine, saying 'it's impossible to set a date in advance.' Russian state news agencies quoted Peskov saying: 'There is no deadline and there cannot be one. Obviously everyone wants to do this as quickly as possible, but the devil is in the details.' According to him, 'Everyone is interested in a quick settlement in Ukraine, Russia is interested in eliminating the root cause of the conflict.'
