Lebanon's president arrives in Nabatieh: 'No current negotiations with Israel'

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun arrived for a visit to the city of Nabatieh in the country's south and confirmed that "there are no new negotiations with Israel at the moment," amid reports that talks will not resume in September and have been postponed to October. According to Aoun, "Israeli withdrawal, the return of prisoners and displaced persons and the rehabilitation (of southern Lebanon) are national principles that we are committed to implementing."
