Attorney General: Avoiding State Commission of Inquiry into Oct. 7 massacre hinders truth-finding

|
Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara addressed the government in a letter regarding the establishment of a state commission of inquiry into the October 7 massacre. Baharav-Miara wrote: "Make a decision regarding the investigation of October 7 events. The government's avoidance of making a decision on a state commission of inquiry is causing damage and hampering the investigation of truth." She noted that in her previous letters it was made clear that "a state commission of inquiry is the designated and unique legal tool existing in law that is suitable for investigating the October 7 events and Operation Iron Swords."
