The newspaper "HaModia", affiliated with Yitzhak Goldknopf who left the government, wrote that the ultra-Orthodox parties intend to escalate their measures in protest of the lack of progress on the draft exemption law, and will boycott votes in Knesset committees as well. The newspaper wrote that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "is responsible for the fact that a law regulating Torah study for yeshiva students has not yet been enacted." Last week, the Haredim began boycotting votes on government bills, after two months of boycotting votes on private bills.
