Police chief: All investigation reports will be sent to me until appointment of military prosecutor investigation supervisor is decided

|
Israel Police Commissioner, Chief Superintendent Danny Levi, has informed the organization's senior officials that until the High Court of Justice rules on the issue of supervising the investigation of outgoing Military Advocate General, Major General Yifat Tomer Yerushalmi, all reports related to the case will be sent directly to him. This was revealed to ynet following a situation assessment Levi held with the police legal counsel. Earlier, Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara announced that she had transferred the authority to accompany the investigation to State Attorney Amit Isman, but Justice Minister Yariv Levin immediately afterward announced that he had appointed retired judge Asher Kula, the Ombudsman for Judiciary Complaints, to this position.
