Highway 1 will be closed to traffic in several sections tomorrow due to U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance's travels in Israel. From 9:30 AM, Highway 1 will be closed westbound, followed by Highway 20 (Ayalon Highway) northbound up to HaShalom Interchange in Tel Aviv. Travelers heading west will be able to use Highway 1 only after Vance arrives in Tel Aviv around 11:30 AM, up to Lod Interchange - and from there via alternative routes. The closures will remain until approximately 2:00 PM.
