The Shin Bet announced that numerous accounts were removed from social media after being used to spread "foreign influence" ahead of the elections. The statement said that "as part of joint activity by the Shin Bet, the Cyber Department at the State Attorney's Office and the Central Elections Committee, several profiles on social media were identified that are being used for foreign influence operations ahead of the elections in Israel. As part of the joint effort to maintain election integrity and thwart illegitimate foreign influence attempts, these accounts were removed from social media."
