Soldier at southern base sentenced to 13 days detention after photographing inedible food

A soldier at a reconnaissance base in the south was sentenced to 13 days detention after documenting and distributing photos of inedible food served to soldiers, for "non-compliance with information security instructions." According to the IDF spokesperson, who added: "The soldier admitted guilt in photographing and distributing content from within the camp area. The camp has written instructions prohibiting photography within the camp area, and similar IDF-wide guidelines exist on this matter." The soldier can appeal the decision.
