Yashar Party Chairman Gadi Eisenkot appointed Roy Folkman as the faction chairman in the 26th Knesset. Folkman, number 17 on the party list, previously served as chairman of the Kulanu faction in the Knesset, and in that role led the faction's work, coordinated the activities of its members and promoted legislative initiatives and economic and social reforms. Yashar stated that 'the appointment is part of the preparations for activity in the Knesset, to fulfill the trust of the voters and to advance the agenda of the party's values.'
