Iran apparently conducted a missile test last week at the Imam Khomeini Space Port – a test it did not publicly announce and which demonstrates its efforts to maintain its massive missile program despite the damage it sustained in the 12-day war with Israel in June. This was reported by the AP news agency based on satellite image analysis. Iran itself has not officially acknowledged conducting the test, which was carried out from the circular launch pad previously used for important launches in its civilian space program, but an Iranian parliament member claimed, without providing evidence, that Tehran conducted an intercontinental ballistic missile test.
