The October Council, an organization representing victims of October 7, responded to the publication of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's schedule from October 7, criticizing: 'Three hours he was awake. Three hours he didn't see fit to speak with the IDF chief of staff. Three hours when they were still alive. Either a state commission of inquiry or the next massacre.' According to the schedule published by Netanyahu, only at 9:55 that morning did 'the Prime Minister hold a situation assessment in the bunker with the participation of the Defense Minister, IDF Chief of Staff, Mossad director, Shin Bet chief, National Security Advisor and IDF Intelligence Directorate chief,' following which 'the PM instructed a hermetic closure of the border line to prevent the transfer of hostages to Gaza and the continued entry of terrorists.'
