Levin to High Court: Cancel the order preventing Judge Ben Hamo from overseeing MAG investigation

|
Justice Minister Yariv Levin has appealed to the High Court of Justice requesting cancellation of the temporary order that prevents Judge Yosef Ben Hamo from beginning his work supervising the investigation of former Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi. He also called for dismissing the State Attorney's request for a further hearing. According to Levin, "The police investigation that began sluggishly under the guidance of a party with a conflict of interest has been proceeding for weeks without any supervising entity. It is difficult to understate the severe damage caused to the investigation each day it continues without external supervision. The temporary order is causing critical harm that could be irreversible to the progress of the investigation."
