The prosecution has filed an indictment with the Tel Aviv District Court against pedophile Oren Danan (46) from Tel Aviv, for aggravated murder of Shirley Yehuda who worked with him about a month ago. According to the indictment, Danan and Yehuda were together in a garden in the city. At some point, the defendant decided to murder her and began attacking her by hitting her head and body, strangling her, dragging her among the bushes and then setting her on fire, causing extensive burns across all parts of her body. He later threw her belongings into the sea. A request has been submitted for his detention until the end of proceedings. Danan was recently released after 23 years in detention for sexual offenses against a 10-year-old girl.
