Hamas sources told the London-based Arabic newspaper A-Sharq Al-Awsat that fighter jets fired at least three missiles at the apartment, and 20 minutes later a combat helicopter attacked another apartment, hundreds of meters away from the apartment where Odeh was staying. According to them, in that strike, a field commander in the intelligence apparatus of the Al-Qassam Brigades, whom Odeh commanded before being appointed head of the military wing, was seriously wounded. A source at Shifa Hospital in Gaza said that a total of six people were killed in the strike in the Rimal neighborhood.
