Hamas officially announced it has received the proposal from Steve Witkoff, U.S. President's envoy to the Middle East, for a ceasefire under the new framework: "Hamas leadership has received the new proposal from Witkoff from the mediators, and is examining the proposal responsibly, while maintaining our people's interests - humanitarian aid and achieving a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip."
