One thousand "strategic drones" have entered service in the Iranian army. This was reported by the Iranian news agency "Tasnim." The report claims that the drones were built by military experts "in accordance with new threats and experience from the 12-day war." Iranian army commander Amir Hatami, who according to the report initiated the drone procurement, said: "In accordance with expected threats, maintaining and improving strategic advantages for rapid combat and crushing response are always on the agenda."
