David Barkai, a member of IDF Unit 504 and according to various reports a former Mossad agent, has admitted that steakhouse empire heiress Christina Block paid him to kidnap her children from her husband. German media reported last night that Barkai's testimony—he is suspected of planning and executing the kidnapping as the leader of the abduction cell—incriminates the mother and her defense attorney. In his testimony, Barkai claimed that the two paid him and the kidnappers approximately 220,000 euros for abducting the children from their father in Denmark and transferring them to Block. Barkai provided his testimony over four days, which has been forwarded to the attorneys of the various defendants.
