A sewage truck driver was arrested on suspicion of dumping oil or fuel into the municipal sewage system in the Ramat Eliyahu area of Rishon Lezion, causing a sharp gas odor for a day and a half throughout the city. The driver was recorded arriving at a side path in the area and then leaving after some time. The investigation is still ongoing, after city officials only last night managed to understand the source of the odor.
