Police arrested a 40-year-old West Bank resident on suspicion of abusing a helpless child at a private daycare center in Ariel where she works. As part of the investigation, police collected security cameras installed at the daycare facility in accordance with a court order to complete investigative procedures. After substantial preliminary evidence of suspicion was found, the worker was arrested overnight and transferred for questioning at the police station, at the conclusion of which she was detained. Later today, she will be brought before the court for a hearing on her case.
