The Shin Bet has addressed the death of Reserve Captain Tal Movshovich who was killed by an explosive device in Khan Yunis. The statement read, "The Israel Security Agency bows its head and expresses deep sorrow over the fall of Tal Movshovich, a fighter and commander in the Israel Security Agency who fell in battle during reserve duty in the Gaza Strip." The statement also noted that "Tal fell during combat in the southern Gaza Strip while serving as a deputy company commander in the 7086 Engineering Battalion, Golani Brigade. Tal is the 11th casualty from the Israel Security Agency since the beginning of the 'Iron Swords' war."
