Hirsch at farewell ceremony for Bipin Joshi: 'A hero who fought, saved lives - and was murdered in captivity'

|
Hostage and Missing Persons Coordinator Brig. Gen. (Res.) Gal Hirsch spoke at the farewell ceremony for fallen soldier Bipin Joshi at Ben Gurion Airport. He said, "It was not supposed to end like this. You are one of us, every Israeli knows your name and your story, and you are now part of Israeli memory. Bipin was a hero, he fought and saved others, managed to survive - and was murdered in captivity." Hirsch added: "Our mission is not yet complete, we still have hostages in Gaza. We will never give up and will not stop until all hostages are returned."
