The meeting between US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky, held at the White House on Friday, deteriorated into a "shouting match" during which Trump "cursed constantly," the Financial Times reported, citing sources familiar with the details. During the meeting, which followed a phone call between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, the American president urged Zelensky to accept Putin's terms for ending the war. If he didn't, Trump claimed, Putin would "destroy" Ukraine. The sources said Trump even threw maps of the Ukrainian front, pressured Zelensky to give up the entire Donbas region (which includes Donetsk and Luhansk provinces) and echoed claims made by Putin during their conversation.
