A worker, approximately 46 years old and a resident of northern Israel, was killed after a concrete slab fell on him at a construction site on HaGderot Street in Savyon. Rescue teams extracted him with no signs of life, and a Magen David Adom crew pronounced him dead at the scene. Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
